Dr. Wellington Yueh was a doctor that served the Atreides house in Frank Herbert's novel Dune. A highly trained graduate of the Suk school, his training conditioned him to be physically unable of doing harm. His training was undone by the Harkonnen family, who kidnapped Yueh's wife in order to turn Yueh against the Atreides and gain access to Duke Leto Atreides and assassinate him. Although Yueh did betray the Atreides family, he inserted a false tooth into the mouth of Duke Atreides that would expel poisonous gas when bitten down upon--a weapon of last resort Duke Atreides could use against the Harkonnens before he was murdered. Dr. Yueh's last words, upon learning that the Harkonnens had killed his wife and as he was dying from a stab wound to the back, were, "You think you have won? You think I don't know what I gained for my wife?"
